- 1 cup cottage cheese 1 or 2 percent
- 3 tsp nutritional yeast flakes
- 2 Tbsp liquid egg whites
- ¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder do more or less depending on your garlic preference
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- ¼ tsp dried oregano
Substitute oregano for basil, rosemary, or any of your preferred seasoning
This sauce is garlic forward, add less of the garlic powder if you prefer a more mild taste, or omit it altogether. If you love garlic, add minced garlic for an extra garlicky cheese sauce!
Add as a protein boost to pasta dishes, nachos, tacos, and garlic bread.
